Students Out in Droves for Annual Messiah Ball

Casino and Dancing Highlight of the Night

The Messiah Ball, hosted by the Campus Activities Board (C.A.B.) and held immediately after the first performance of the Messiah, was a well-attended success. This ball was yet another opportunity to wear that tuxedo or that dress you HAD to buy instead of rent, and it was set apart from previous balls by the opportunity to gamble for prizes.

New Dean of the Chapel Offers Spiritual Support to Questioning Students

Perched in her sun-filled chapel office, Rev. Beth O'Malley beams of excitement as she tells of the things she hopes to accomplish at Hood over the next year. From the United Church of Christ out of Columbia, O'Malley is the first-ever Dean of the Chapel at Hood.
